Laundry Room Redo - Clients Home

A couple of weeks ago I spent some time at

Jered & Jaycee's

home re-organizing for them.  They hired me to come into their home and come up with organizational solutions for many rooms in their home.   The laundry room was one of the many areas we re-did and I will tell you: It's a HUGE change & they LOVE it!

clients home

Who wouldn't want to do laundry in here?

and who wouldn't want to keep it looking this good? I know I would!

This is what the room looked like before we cleared the space:

 and I want you to remember this IKEA bookshelf,

because in another post I'm going to show you how we reused it.

Jered installed this leftover counter-top that they had sitting in their shop.  He also built a couple of shelves for baskets for the clean clothes {because, let's face it... they don't always get put away right away} The laundry sorter is from Target.com {find it

here

}

Glass Jars are gorgeous anywhere & everywhere... I love them in the laundry room!

So I suggested they buy some for this room & they did.  L.O.V.E!

Find the big jar from

Target here

. Find the little jars from

Target here.

Jaycee made these adorable tags and  I've created some laundry room labels that you can purchase on my

Etsy Shop

and print from your own home or from any print shop!

Here are the labels that you can purchase:

Every laundry room should have a place to hang clothing. . .

. . .this one is a curtain rod that they've had kicking around.

I had Jered cut it to size & now it serves a different purpose.

and this space . . .

went from this . . .

To this!

A great Ikea drying rack was installed above. Find it {

here.

} The towel holder is actually a Wall Rack/Dish Drainer from Ikea. Find it {

here.

}  To finish this space, I suggested that they get a mirror for above the sink.  The little cabinet door is a built-in ironing board.  I don't have a built-in ironing board, so I have mine hanging on the back of my door with an Iron Board Holder.  {I'll show you my laundry room someday too.} Here are a few Iron Board Holders that I found online:

or if you wanted to spend the money... find a wall mounted ironing  center

 Ready for the side-by side before & afters of this Laundry Room Re-do?

 Here they are:

 Amazing huh?

I love transformations like this! and I love the challenge of creating transformations like this!

This is just one of the areas we did in their home, stay tuned for more of their home re-do's coming soon!
