My Laundry Room Reveal

Hi all! Today, I’m showing you my finished laundry room.  I already

shared little peeks into the room

during the Spring Into Organization Blogger Home Tour.

To prep for the tour, I painted the room, made a curtain, added knobs to the cabinet doors, hired my cabinet guys to build a counter for the top of the washer and dryer and had my father-in-law install it (he installed the chandelier at Christmas time.)  I also made some labels for the baskets, organized the sewing supply cabinets, bought some décor pieces and then put it all together to look like so…

I do LOVE my laundry room.  I certainly have no problems spending time in here.

I LOVE the glass jars. These ones hold potpourri, clothes pins and oxi-clean.

The chandelier is from Ikea.

These trays are from Ross.  I got them on clearance, because they’re missing a few diamonds,  BUT I just turn them, so the missing parts are in the back, you’d never even know. The larger one holds towels that I use in the room…

and a smaller one holds dryer sheets.

The counter is the perfect spot for folding.

a rod for hanging smaller items and to hold my hangers.

These baskets hold clean folded clothes.  They’re from Ikea.

I made these labels out of t-shirt transfers and material.  I show you how to make them

.

Underneath are two dirty clothes drawer pull-outs.  Perfect for sorting the clothes.  If you don’t have anything like this, options can be found:

Wall hooks from Ikea for hanging clothes.

and an ironing board holder attached to the back of the door.

I made this faux roman shade, similar to the way

Centsational Girl made hers

.  She has a great tutorial for those of you who’d like to make one and an

awesome laundry room

too!

The other side of my laundry room has a place for my sewing machine and supplies.

and a basket for socks.

Earlier this week, I showed you my sewing cabinets all organized.

The edit-able and printable sewing cabinet labels can be found

. They are blank labels that you can type in your own wording, giving you the option to label or tag whatever you wish.

Inside the closet I store more baskets for clean and folded clothing.

These BLANK printable labels can be found in my shop

Now the before and after together of my laundry room:
