Personalized Stockings For Under a Dollar

Hello!  Hope you're all doing well during this busy time of year.

I've been slowly getting my home all decked out for Christmas.  Soon, I hope to be able to show you my Christmas Home Tour for 2012.  If you missed my 2011 tour, you can view it {HERE}.  

So much of my home is different from last year.  Not only with my Christmas Decor, but with new furniture, accessories, curtains and more.

Today I wanted to share how I personalized my boys' stockings this year and the best part is, it cost me less than $1.00 piece and I LOVE it!!

While browsing Walt-Mart the other day I came across these adorable glittered letters. (They were next to the stockings in the holiday aisle.)

 

I picked up four of them, tied some fishing line to them and hung them from stockings that I already had.

Easy and personalized and cute enough for me.

You can do this with wooden letters too, which can be found at craft stores. Just paint them whatever color you want, add a hole to the top and hang them.
