Desk Makeover

My 2 youngest boys currently share a bedroom.

With school starting out as remote learning this year, I needed to get a desk for their room, so one of the boys could work from their room and the other could work in my main area.

My daughter in laws mother knew I was looking for a desk and she had this one that she was willing to sell to me, but it needed a little makeover.

As soon as I saw it, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. I bought it as soon as I could and started painting it right away.

I painted it in Farmhouse Paint. Antique Black on the top and Cotton White color on the bottom.

I sanded the edges to bring out some of the wood and give a little distressed look.

After I was done giving the desk a makeover, my son and I went and did a little shopping. We found decor from Hobby Lobby and the At Home store.

I love how this little area turned out.
