DIY Outdoor Faux Flower Pots

I’m not usually a fan of fake flowers outside, but I did it. I now have faux flowers on my back patio and guess what… I actually like them a LOT!

I had these pots of dirt just sitting on the back patio and I wanted to freshen this space up.

I’m going to be gone quite a bit this summer and I can't seem to keep real flowers alive outside, unless I have drip lines running to the pots. I didn’t want to spend the time setting up drip lines this year, so I decided to use fake flowers instead of real ones.

I picked up some artificial white geraniums and greenery. I made sure to get a variety of greens to get a more realistic look. I also bought a foam block that I cut to size. I just left the dirt that I had in the pots and put the foam block on top of that.

Super simple and the best part?… No watering needed and they won’t die on me.

I added red geraniums to a simple pot on my outdoor coffee table and it adds just the right pop of color needed here.
